Know Rory and Dana A Little Bit Better

What should we know about your story?                                                                                                   To know Rory and Dana is to know that they form a two-tier testimony that, though varied, is mutually complimentary. Rory grew up in the church but due to life baggage and the pain that goes with it, he was wooed away by the ways of the world and the rock-n-roll lifestyle. The Lord saved him out of that and from himself; he has been so grateful for the Lord’s saving grace and hand on his life. Dana also grew up in the church, doing ministry from a young age. Feeling like she didn’t have a story to tell about God’s hand on her life, God helped Dana to know that her testimony was the one that says “God works!” Rory and Dana like to simply say, Rory shows God’s redemptive love and Dana shows God’s sustaining love. These are both so vital in our lives and potent in how it speaks of Who God is.

What do you do, how do you do it and how did that come to be?                                                                                                                                                    After approximately ten years of Pastoral ministry, the Lord transitioned Rory and Dana into an itinerant ministry.  They have been ministering to the body of Christ in this forum since March, 2009. The Lord did a mighty work to confirm His new call on their life and they love to share it with others (just ask them). They are a ministry that feels called to awaken the Bride of Christ to come back to her First Love. Much of the music, teaching and writing God has given them is based in intimacy and a call to surrender. It is a crucial walking out of God’s sovereignty and worth in our lives from a platform of relationship. They love to teach and share what God has taught them over the years about these areas and more. They feel that one of their most relevant topics is how our marriages are a picture of Christ and the church. This has become a life passion for them. It is one of the greatest evangelistic tools they know, we as the church, have at our disposal. Dana feels called to teach women through the book the Lord gave her called, “Once Upon A Fairytale.” She also loves to share on other subjects pertaining to women drawing closer to Christ. Rory feels driven to share about discipleship, the importance of knowing what you believe and living it with abandon. He loves to share his testimony and how God has brought him from a life of brokenness into a personal relationship with Jesus. One of their biggest heart’s cries is to lead the body of Christ into worship through music and testimony.

Is it just the two of you or do you include your kids in the ministry?                                                                                                                                   They know God has called them to be a family ministry. Therefore, Rory and Dana include their three teenagers and one elementary aged son within ministry areas. These are prayerfully walked out in increasing measure.

Who are we affiliated with and accountable to?                                                                                                                                                       Rory and Dana love to minister interdenominationally as they want to serve the Body of Christ at large. They are currently forming an accountability board filled with godly men. These men will support them and have the right to speak into their lives, both personally as well as their life’s work. Feedback is  important to receive from Ministry Event Leaders. Currently, they are setting up a feedback forum for the places/events they minister at, by which both praise or concerns can be addressed. This can be done by both them and the accountability board.

Do we offer references?                                                                                                                                    Yes. Please see our References page to obtain the contact information of said references as well as our Feedback Page  to hear what others are saying.

How is your ministry different than any other ministry out there? What is, in particular, your goal in coming to an event or church?                                                                                                                                                                            We make it a policy to refrain from comparisons. It is important to leave that up to others in their evaluation of us, however we will share with you what we feel is important in our approach. We are living in such a singular time in history. There is increasing evidence that Christ’s return is imminent and a significant portion of that evidence is inside the church at large.  The closer we get the more we see many people falling away and living lives that are less than what Christ redeemed them for.    Much of this is rooted in the great deception that is in the world we live in. Sadly, it has been finding its way into the lives of believers as well.  Rory and Dana’s hearts are to walk alongside the church while being a help and an encouragement. They long to exhort God’s people through a call back to that place of intimacy and surrender within biblical soundness.  It is evident how often truth, intimacy and surrender are areas that can help solidify in the peoples’ hearts Who Jesus is and what He desires out of a life. Rory and Dana know a young woman who shared with her mother about what drew her heart out of rebellion. Here is what she said: “Others in the church were saying what you  and Dad were, so I knew it must be true.” Rory and Dana want to be the “other people in the church.” They want to walk alongside the church, at large, affirming biblical truth.  Rory and Dana desire to team up with you, to give Christ the inheritance of His suffering in His people.

How do you “do” remuneration?                                                                                                         They have a heart to minister where the Lord leads – with His expressed will being the decision making process. We do ask for expenses to be covered as well as an offering – whether offered through the church/organization or those present at the event…etc.  However, if there is a monetary concern from those involved please contact Rory and Dana to see if and what may be worked out.

What do we have to show our creed/ministry statement of faith?                                                                                                    Please see  our Ministry Statement of Faith Page

How does someone reach you to come and minister at their event or church, etc.?                                                                                                                                                                            You can reach us here, via our website, through the contact tab ;  Email: inhimallthings@gmail.com  or Phone: 705-495-7262.

Are there any samples of what we do for someone to get a peek into our approach?                                                                                                                                                                           Please see our Sample Clips Page
